Felicia Kreger
Executive Board Member #1
Felicia Kreger
Felicia E. Kreger, (maiden name Felicia E. Davis) was born and raised in the Andersonville neighborhood of the North side of Chicago She attended Franklin Fine Arts Center from kindergarten through eighth grade. This school was one of the main cultivators of her creative side. She graduated from Von Steuben Metropolitan High School and graduated with herBachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
While attending NIU Felicia knew then that she wanted to get into “radio and film” but she wasn’t sure how or where to start. After graduation she worked for a local travel company that hosted trips for radio stations. She traveled the world and had fun doing it. She was able to start her production career by being an intern for the local PBS station, WTTW CHANNEL 11. While working on the documentary DuSable to Obama: Chicago’s Black Metropolis she was fortunate to meet a local production worker who was looking for Production Assistants for an upcoming film coming to Chicago. Even though Felicia was super grateful for the internship she had, she was still very green to the multifunctional world of production. When the production worker asked for Production Assistants she said “I don’t know what that is but I’m sure I can do it! Can I help?” and in the spring of 2010, she had the chance of a lifetime of being an additional, second unit lockup production assistant. Starting off as a second unit additional PA, networking, and meeting folks along the way Felicia worked her way up from there. Second unit PA, main unit PA, commercial/music video PA, background PA, base camp PA, first team PA. After her time as a PA on multiple projects she went ahead and decided to shake things up and see what the office had to offer. Office PA, production secretary, APOC. Different projects, different experiences, and different views into the multifaceted world of production that we live in. She kept pushing and in September, 2014, she was sworn into Local 476!
She knew she wanted to try another angle of this world and entered the Set Decoration Department. She started out as a buyer and had wonderful experiences! Then she saw the swing gang crew and it was like spotting her crush! Felicia fell hard for the camaraderie, teamwork and work ethic of these folks! Watching them create a set from nothing, bring it in and sneak out like the magic they just created was a breeze. This was the moment she knew that she found her happy place! Likely because of the folks but she found her grounded place with the swing gang of Chicago PD for the last 4 years. Working her way up to find the right fit, the right crew was an experience in itself. She met her husband while working on these crews, and grew up working on these crews in more ways than one. I look forward to the adventures ahead!

Kimberly Clancy
Executive Board Member #3
Kimberly Clancy
Kimberly Miller Clancy became a member of Local 476 in 1996. Her career in film began in 1986 working as an intern at WLS for “AM Chicago” with Oprah Winfrey. She immediately fell in love with everything production; and from that moment on, she worked in any capacity possible… from a camera assistant on a low budget film, to craft service on a few commercials, to art department coordinator on a couple features, to working in the location department on her first feature film called “Midnight Run”. Kimberly stayed in locations working on many features until 1993 with her last movie being Baby’s Day Out. Working in locations gave Kimberly a deep understanding of all the departments of production. It also helped direct her next career step of moving into the set decorating department.
At this point, Kimberly became an IATSE 476 member and was now able to work in set decorating. Fast forward 26 years, she has been lucky to work as a set dresser, buyer, and set decorator on feature films, tv shows, pilots and commercials.
Recently, Kimberly was elected to the IATSE 476 Executive Board. It is a great honor and she takes this role very seriously. She believes that it is our duty to speak about fairness and equality for all our members.
From early childhood, she knew that she wanted to work in the creative arts. To achieve her goals, she attended Southern Methodist University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a Minor in Fine Arts. Working in the film industry has given her an amazing life! She met her talented husband, a 476 union member, while working on a feature film which led to having 3 beautiful children.
